My latest AFP story is getting picked up first in Australia today — it just depends on when they move, which region picks them up first I guess. The nut graf originally had the words, “economic pain still gushing,” but I get it. Headlines have got to actually make sense. This guy Dean Blanchard was a marvel, his office was entirely decked out with Louisiana State University Tigers — for the LSU football team — and he smoked constantly during our conversation.
